Feedback Grid
This activity helps you collect and digest feedback, then spark questions and ideas. It’s useful for processing input and determining next steps in real-time or after an event, like a presentation or community engagement session.
Example Scenario: Create a roadmap for transitioning to virtual programming.
Instructions:
Draw the grid:
Create a four-quadrant grid, and label each of the quadrants:
"Things that Worked"
"Things to Change"
"New Ideas to Try"
"Questions We Still Have"
Gather feedback:
Have participants write down their feedback on sticky notes, placing them in the appropriate quadrant. Encourage specific and constructive criticism.
Cluster and discuss:
As a team, cluster similar pieces of feedback together and discuss. Look for patterns and themes in the feedback.
Analyze and plan:
Analyze the feedback in each quadrant to determine actionable next steps.
Notes:
Consider using different colored sticky notes to categorize feedback (e.g., by audience segment).
Use this activity in conjunction with other activities, such as Assumptions and Questions or Storyboarding, to begin implemented feedback.
